Entry Level Divisions
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this entry level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.
Tee Ball is the entry level division for players, ages 5-6. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. Fletcher Hills Little league strives to have our tee ballers have fun.
Rookies is the next level division for players, ages 6-7, that have already had one FULL year of tee ball. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. This level is the first time your child will have a coach pitch to them.
Our lower level divisions do not require try outs.
Try Out Divisions
Minors B (Caps)
Ages 7-9 (try outs)
Our Minor B level is a kid pitch level. Kids are required to try out and then are placed on teams in a draft. The kids start with coach pitch for the first few games and then move on to pitch for themselves. This level is a fun and interesting change in the game for the players. You really see the determination and heart come out in caps.
Minors A (Minors)

Our Minor A level is a kid pitch level. Minors are also required to try out and then are placed on teams in a draft. This level is when you really see players shine and find what position they truly love. This level is competitive, exciting, and fast moving.
Majors is a kid pitch level where try outs are required as well. These are our seasoned veterans by this time. The Majors games are exciting, fun, and amazing. Seeing your player on the majors field making and completing plays with more precision then ever before. The pitching is faster and harder then ever as well. This is when the teams get to choose a MLB team to represent other then the Padres.
